Neal Moran

A 70’s baby, born and raised in St.Helens, North West of England.
In the 80’s often found trying to flog drawings to the neighbours.

In senior school, I took GCSE Art, leading me into choosing the career path of a Graphic Designer. Whilst at college I also found that I was drawn to print making and photography (I can still smell both the darkroom and the print making inks now). I was gifted my first film SLR, before eventually taking the plunge into digital photography.

Although I still have a strong passion for Graphic Design and Photography I find myself drawn back to Art and the need to be hands-on and to create, away from the screen. I tried printmaking for a little while, but struggled with space. Now, I’m looking to bring all of the above together by exploring mixed media art.
